LASIK Surgery at Radiant You Clinic
LASIK surgery is a modern and reliable treatment method used to correct various vision problems caused by focusing disorders in the eye. Commonly known as “laser eye surgery,” this procedure is one of the most frequently chosen eye health treatments today, thanks to bladeless laser technology.
Performed with the
excimer laser technique, this operation has a high success rate in correcting visual defects such as
myopia, hyperopia, and
astigmatism. Laser correction offers both a safe procedure and a comfortable recovery process.
LASIK surgery prices are determined according to the patient’s personalized treatment plan.
Who Is Eligible?
At Radiant You Clinic, LASIK surgery can be safely performed on individuals who are
18 years or older and whose
prescription has remained stable for the last year. Before the operation, patients undergo a detailed eye examination and all necessary tests, and suitability for treatment is evaluated by our expert doctors. After a short assessment process, the patient is informed whether they are suitable for the operation.
Who Is Not Eligible?
Although LASIK is a safe method, it may not be suitable for some individuals. The procedure is not recommended in the following cases:
- Individuals under 18,
- Those with uncontrolled diabetes or rheumatic diseases,
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women,
- Patients with cataracts, active eye infections, or uncontrolled glaucoma.
In such cases, the operation is not performed, and patients are guided toward alternative treatment options.
Before Surgery
Before LASIK, a detailed examination is carried out, including the evaluation of refractive errors, corneal thickness, and overall eye health. An appointment is scheduled for the surgery day, where the procedure is performed in the laser room using bladeless techniques. This approach is particularly advantageous for patients who are apprehensive about surgical intervention.
After Surgery
The operation is generally painless. During the first few hours, mild stinging, burning, or tearing may occur. Redness in the whites of the eyes usually disappears on its own within 10–15 days. For eye protection,
protective glasses are recommended for the first night.
- It may take an average of 6 weeks for visual clarity to fully stabilize.
- During this period, artificial tears and the doctor’s prescribed antibiotic/anti-inflammatory drops must be used regularly.
- Most patients can return to work after about 1 week of rest.
A follow-up examination is scheduled within the
first month after the surgery. By adhering to medical advice, patients typically enjoy a smooth recovery without complications and can continue life without the need for glasses or contact lenses.
